OUR STORY
When Lynn English and Marlissa Hudson founded English Hudson in 2021, they brought with them a combined 40+ years of development experience with dozens of nonprofit organizations.
We do our work intentionally and sustainably in order to solve multiple problems. We help raise money and ensure that more organizations—of, for, and by the communities they serve—have the resources they need and deserve to create lasting impact. We are also working to change the culture and face of philanthropy and fundraising.
We live our values by investing our firm’s dollars within our community whenever possible and by developing the next generation of fundraising activists, identifying and cultivating people who have never done this work before but have the talent and commitment to be excellent, mission-driven consultants. And we are operating English Hudson to be as Earth-friendly as possible.
OUR VALUES

At English Hudson, we optimize every aspect of our business to ensure we’re exceeding client expectations while working sustainably and intentionally. Expect consistent and clear communication about your project and work that leads to real results for your organization.
GROWTH
At English Hudson, we prioritize growing and developing sustainable organizations to the place where they no longer need our services.
BALANCE
At English Hudson, the health and wellness of our team comes first because we know that if we’re not taking care of ourselves, we can’t stay innovative and produce the custom strategies that get results for our clients and the communities they serve.
